Artistic Swimming

Artistic Swimming will take place from Sunday 25th to Tuesday 27th June 2023 at the London Aquatics Centre, home of the 2012 Olympics.

Athletes will compete in a variety of artistic swimming events, with breath-taking feats of strength and flexibility on display and all in time to music – you cannot fail to be impressed!

The competition is expected to be fierce, with age groups ranging from 18-24 Years right up to 60 Years and over.

A detailed schedule will be published in May 2023. IGLA London 2023 championships are governed by the FINA rules and regulations, and the tournament is organised under the recommendations of IGLA.

The forecasted programme is as follows:

  • Solos
  • Duos/Trios
  • Teams (minimum of 4 and maximum of 8)
  • Free Combination (minimum of 4 and maximum of 10)

For each event (except for the Free Combination), competitors will perform a technical program and an artistic program.

For the Free Combination, the competitors will perform an artistic program.

This schedule is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to athletes.

In order to take part in the competitions, each participant must be at least 18 years old, and be a licensed member of a club that is affiliated with its national governing body.

Any given participant can only be a member of one team.

If you take part in artistic swimming as a second sport, please note that the timetables of sports may overlap; make sure that the dates and times of other events are not in conflict with any of the other sports you want to participate in.
