Code of Conduct

Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of the IGLA London 2023 championships. This is built on our shared understating of mutual respect and acceptance for all, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, neurodivergence, age, political beliefs and athletic abilities.

We strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for all those involved in the championships and celebrate our diversity in all its forms, that together make up our community.

This approach to enshrining our shared understanding of diversity and inclusion extends to all aspects of the championships. Diversity and inclusion include recognizing that diverse abilities and experiences from our own might create privileges for some people while creating disadvantages for others.

We promote a conscious acknowledgement of diversity and inclusion that includes:

  • Recognising that gender is not binary
  • Respecting each individual’s right to self-identify
  • Understanding each individual’s process of coming out is different and unique.
  • Working to establish a safe space that is open to all individuals.

All those involved in IGLA London 2023 must adhere to the following code of conduct.
