DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Out For Sport\, throughout the week of the championships\, a series of training sessions and workshops will be delivered open to all IGLA and Out For Sport members. \nSport\, Physical Activity and Trans People: The Basics \nDeliver by our friends at Gendered Intelligence; this session introduces the key ideas and information people need to know about trans inclusion within grassroots sport and physical activity settings. \nThe session will: \n\n\nExplain what ‘trans’ means and describe the diversity of those who might use the term \n\n\nIntroduce key concepts crucial to understanding trans people \n\n\nList the main legislation relating to trans identities \n\n\nOutline trans inclusive practice in grassroots sport and physical activities \n\n\nProvide links to further resources and help \n\n\nAll sessions are available to a maximum of 2 members per club.
